Words as colour

Today we talked about Vladimir Nabakov.
When he heard words, he also saw them as colours.
This reminded me of one time I was with Orchestra Victoria.
The conductor spoke about this composer who saw the sonds with colour.
When he was conducting, he'd stop and tell the players 'No, more blue, more blue!'
And that's just something I thought I'd write
